Stacker Battery Charger — 24V 10A FCBC with Digital Ammeter
What is a stacker battery charger? A stacker battery charger recharges the 24V lead-acid traction battery used in electric stackers, pallet trucks and forklifts. The Samco SB-24-10DG is a 24V 10A FCBC — Float Cum Boost Charger: dial the current on the 0–10A knob, boost a flat battery, and it auto-tapers to Float so the battery stays full between shifts. ₹4,485 with GST · free shipping across India · made in Delhi since 2000.
Why Indian warehouses ask for FCBC
FCBC = Float Cum Boost Charger — one charger, two jobs
- Boost — active charge that brings a flat traction battery back, fast.
- Taper — current eases off automatically as the bank fills, so cells aren't hammered.
- Float — holds the battery topped up till the morning shift, without overcharging.
160–280V AC supply
Rides through voltage dips and generator supply common in Indian industrial areas — fewer trips, steadier charging.
Protects battery life
Current reduces as the bank fills, so a small battery is never forced to take full amps — batteries last longer.
Digital ammeter
Watch the actual charging current on display. No guesswork, no multimeter needed on the floor.

Ordinary charger vs Samco 10A FCBC
| What matters | Ordinary fixed charger | Samco 10A FCBC |
|---|---|---|
| Charging current | One fixed rate for every battery | 0–10A knob — set it to suit the bank |
| Small batteries | Overcharged at full rate, life cut short | Dial down to ~10% of Ah rating |
| Between shifts | Overcharge risk if left connected | Float holds it safely, shift after shift |
| Indian mains supply | Trips on voltage dips | 160–280V wide input |
| Metering | Guesswork | Digital ammeter, live current |
What the 24V 10A FCBC stacker charger is used for
Electric stackers & pallet stackers
The core job. Traction batteries charged overnight and held on Float until the next shift, with the knob set to match the bank rather than forcing a fixed rate.
Forklifts, reach trucks & pallet jacks
Warehouse handling equipment on 24V lead-acid traction banks. For banks above roughly 100Ah, or multi-shift operations, step up to the 24V 20A FCBC.
DG sets, AMF panels & fire panels
Standby banks that must crank first time after weeks idle. Float is what makes this model right for equipment left connected between events.
Telecom & UPS backup banks
24V cabinets needing controlled maintenance charging with a live current reading rather than a fixed output.
Truck & bus starter banks
Road vehicles work here too, though a rugged fixed-output unit is often preferred on a depot floor — see the 24V 10A analog truck charger.
Workshops running 12V as well
This charger is 24V only. If your bench sees both voltages, the dual-voltage 12V/24V range detects which is connected.
Fits 24V stackers, forklifts and pallet trucks from leading brands
The output is standard 24V DC for lead-acid traction batteries, so it's used with electric stackers, pallet stackers and reach trucks from these and many other brands. Two checks before ordering: the battery must be 24V, and set the knob to suit the Ah — see the 10% rule below. The battery maker's charging specification always takes priority.
Set the knob in one second
As a starting point, set the current to roughly 10% of the battery's Ah rating. The battery maker's stated charging current always takes priority.
| Battery size | 40Ah | 50Ah | 60Ah | 80Ah | 100Ah |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Set knob to | ≈4A | ≈5A | ≈6A | ≈8A | 10A |
GEL batteries: GEL, and some VRLA and AGM types, require lower boost and float voltages than flooded cells. The charger must be configured for GEL before dispatch — tell us your battery type when ordering; it is not a front-panel setting. Check the battery periodically during charging and standby.

Stacker battery charger FAQs — answered
What is a stacker battery charger?
A stacker battery charger is a DC power supply that recharges the 24V lead-acid traction battery used in electric stackers, pallet stackers, forklifts and reach trucks. This Samco model is an FCBC — Float Cum Boost Charger — with a 0–10A variable knob: it boost-charges a flat battery, tapers automatically as the bank fills, then holds it on Float between shifts. ₹4,485 with GST, shipped free across India.
What is the full form of FCBC?
FCBC stands for Float Cum Boost Charger — "cum" meaning "combined with". Boost is the active charging mode that refills a discharged battery; Float is the maintenance mode that holds a full battery ready without overcharging. One FCBC unit does both jobs, which is why it's the standard choice for stackers and standby banks in India.
What is the price of a 24V stacker battery charger in India?
Samco's 24V 10A FCBC stacker battery charger costs ₹4,485 with GST included and free shipping to 19,000+ pincodes. Higher-current models cost more — the 15A digital is ₹5,169 and the 20A FCBC is ₹9,174. Dealer and bulk rates are available on request.
Which battery sizes does the 24V 10A FCBC suit?
Best fit is 40Ah–100Ah. As a starting point set the knob to about 10% of the Ah rating — 10A for a 100Ah bank, 4A for 40Ah — and always follow the battery maker's specified current. Above roughly 100Ah, or when faster turnaround matters, step up to the 24V 20A FCBC.
What is the difference between Boost and Float?
Boost is the active charging mode for a discharged battery, and the current tapers automatically as the battery fills. Float is the maintenance mode that holds a full battery topped up without overcharging — exactly what a stacker parked overnight or between shifts needs.
Why does it have a variable current knob?
Stacker and forklift batteries vary widely in capacity, and forcing a small bank to charge at full current shortens its life. The 0–10A knob lets you set the rate to suit the battery instead of forcing a fixed one — one charger, many battery sizes.
Can I leave this charger connected between shifts?
Yes, on Float. Boost refills the battery and current tapers automatically as it fills; Float then holds it at maintenance level without overcharging — ideal for a stacker parked overnight or a DG standby bank. Confirm the float voltage your battery maker specifies for GEL, AGM and some VRLA types. Never connect lithium-ion or LiFePO4 batteries.
Does it work with GEL, AGM and sealed batteries?
Flooded, SMF, VRLA and AGM types are supported directly. GEL needs a lower charging voltage, so the charger must be configured for GEL before dispatch — tell us at the time of ordering; it is not a front-panel setting. Not intended for lithium-ion or LiFePO4 batteries.
Can it charge two 12V batteries, or a 12V, 36V or 48V battery?
Two 12V batteries only when wired in series as one 24V set — the charger has a single 24V output. It cannot charge a single 12V battery, and 36V or 48V banks are outside its range; for both voltages on one bench, see the dual-voltage 12V/24V range.
How long does a full charge take?
At 10A, allow roughly the amp-hours replaced divided by 10, plus extra for the final absorption stage, since the current tapers as the bank fills. Treat it as a practical estimate — actual time varies with battery condition, temperature and state of charge.
Do you deliver to Delhi NCR and the rest of India?
Yes. Orders ship free from Kashmere Gate, Delhi within 1–2 working days — typically 2–4 working days to Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, Faridabad and the rest of NCR, and 3–7 working days to 19,000+ pincodes across India. COD is available; the listed price already includes GST.
What warranty and returns apply?
Six months against manufacturing defects, plus a 3-day return window on unopened goods in original packaging with return shipping paid by the customer. Full terms on the warranty & returns page.
Do you offer dealer or bulk pricing?
Yes — dealer and wholesale rates for battery shops, warehouses and fleet operators. Send your quantity on WhatsApp or call +91 99539 35912 for a trade quote.
