The 12V/24V 10A automatic SMPS Float-cum-Boost (FCBC) charger detects 12V or 24V batteries automatically and adjusts output from 0–10A. Boost mode charges discharged batteries quickly; Float mode maintains standby batteries — DG sets, inverters, UPS — at full charge indefinitely. A Normal / Off / Fast switch sets the rate — Normal for everyday charging, Fast for deep-discharged batteries. Two 12V batteries in series behave as one 24V battery — and any charger on this page charges the pair together. Five steps, five minutes.
Join the negative terminal of battery 1 to the positive terminal of battery 2. The pair now acts as one 24V battery.
Red clamp on battery 1's free positive terminal. Black clamp on battery 2's free negative terminal. Nothing else connects.
Set current for one battery of that Ah rating — the same current flows through both. Never add the two Ah figures.
The charger detects the 24V set by itself. The digital ammeter shows live charging current — if it reads, you're charging.
When charged, switch off before removing clamps. Keep both batteries matched by type and Ah — a weak battery drags the pair down.
Important: "two batteries" means two in series, not two on their own. These chargers have one output — two unconnected 12V batteries cannot be charged independently at the same time on one unit.

Yes. Connect a 12V or a 24V battery and the charger reads the voltage across its clamps and switches mode by itself. You can also charge two 12V batteries wired in series as a single 24V set. All four Samco 12V/24V models support both voltages.
Connect the batteries in series: negative of the first to positive of the second. Put the charger's positive clamp on the first battery's free positive terminal and the negative clamp on the second battery's free negative terminal. The charger detects the 24V pair and charges both together. Match both batteries by type and Ah, and set the current for one battery, not two.
Float-cum-Boost (FCBC) is a two-mode charging method widely specified in Indian power plants, substations and DG installations. Boost mode charges a discharged battery quickly; Float mode holds a standby battery at full charge indefinitely without overcharging. Samco's 10A and 25A 12V/24V chargers are FCBC-type with automatic Boost-to-Float transition.
For trucks and buses — typically two 12V 120–180Ah batteries in series — the 25A model (₹11,949) is the best fit. For larger banks above 180Ah, or workshops charging many vehicles daily, choose the 30A (₹14,046). Both detect the 24V pair automatically.
For a 150Ah tubular inverter battery, the 15A charger (₹6,153) is the sweet spot — roughly 10% of capacity, the widely recommended charging rate. For 200Ah+ batteries or faster recovery between power cuts, step up to the 25A.

All lead-acid chemistries: tubular, flat-plate, SMF, VRLA and AGM. GEL batteries work with a GEL-specific charging-voltage configuration requested at the time of order. Lithium-ion and LiFePO4 batteries are not supported.
